The Electrical Power Systems program at AIMT provides students with essential training in energy generation, transmission, distribution, electrical machines, protection systems, and industrial power installation. Both HND and BTS tracks equip learners with technical and practical competencies needed in the energy, utilities, engineering, and industrial sectors.
This program focuses on power engineering principles including electrical machines, transformers, power systems analysis, substation operations, installation techniques, distribution networks, and safety standards. Students gain practical experience through laboratory sessions, fieldwork, and industrial exposure to real-world electrical power systems.
The following curriculum outlines major modules covered in the HND (English Section) and BTS (French Section) Electrical Power Systems programs.
