This program focuses on the planning, operation, optimization, and protection of modern electrical power systems including renewable energy, smart grids, industrial power distribution, and high-voltage engineering.
The M.Tech in Power Systems Engineering provides advanced theoretical and practical knowledge in electrical generation, transmission, distribution, grid protection, smart systems, and renewable energy integration.
Students are trained using real industrial tools for power system modeling, relay coordination, load flow analysis, and high-voltage systems design.
The curriculum includes two semesters of coursework and an extensive research-based project.
